Power of Branding - a collector observation

In 2011 when Coca Cola pulled back from the market the snow white can with polar bears for the holidays , because  customers complained of confusion caused with the can with Diet Coke, tells us how we the consumers depend on the color more than reading the product labels, this is of course due to the power of marketing , RED is coke, Blue is Pepsi ,,,etc. in the Sucrology world , there are the white, brown, and pink packets, white is for white sugar, brown is for brown sugar, while pink is for sweetener.....well.. packets can be of any color but mostly  pink is for the sweetener. Question here is pink really for any sweetener? or is it because of the fact that we got used to pink color is -since it is  one of the most famous product "Sweet n' low"-, I noticed that some places use pink color for the locally packed sweeteners. although it's  not sweet n' low.

See the power of colors in branding and marketing!

I am not saying that all places are using the three type of sugars, nor all use the pink for sweetener, my observation is only for those who use them. Sweeteners vary but we all know what pink is what green is and what yellow is , weather it indicate the  brand or the type of sweetener, I know there is a code for the each sweeteners if its saccharin  or aspartame ...etc.

with different types of sweeteners or sugar substitutes, we can see a golden yellow Sweet n' low, a pink Equal and  a green Splenda .😊
